My name is Longzhi, a rare name meaning ‘the Dragon is coming’ in Chinese, or just call me Rex.

I was born in Shijiazhuang, a city beside Beijing, small but cozy, except for extreme pollution in past years (much better now). After graduating from high school, I went southern China for studying.

At the beginning, I knew nothing about my interests, so during my undergraduate period(South China University of Technology), I studied four majors: Biomedical Engineering, Architecture, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, and finally got the last two degrees. What a Brute Force Algorithm for life!

Then I went to the University of Hong Kong and graduated a year earlier(Master of Computer Science).

Now, I’m a software engineer at Tubi, that’s a great place to work.

I used Java, Golang (even VHDL lol) in the past, but now I’m really enjoying studying elixir here.

Most of the time, I’m a backend engineer and I’m interested in new technologies.
